Brick Plaza

Background
Positioned at the intersection of four well-trafficked roadways, Brick Plaza enjoys a prominent location in a shore community that has seen significant development over the past several years as the population migrates further south of the New York metro area. The Plaza sits at the geographic center of the Township, making it a hub of the bustling retail corridor that stretches out around it. The Plaza recently underwent a significant, multi-year renovation to re-energize tenancy, beautify storefronts, introduce placemaking elements and improve wayfinding. Features of the remodel include the programming of a vibrant outdoor communal space connecting all project points, as well as interactive murals and the creation of more than fifteen rain gardens designed to filter storm water pollutants from the local waterways including Barnegat Bay.
Tenancy has evolved in line with the aesthetic upgrades. Today, the Plaza is anchored by Trader Joes, AMC Theatre, Home Goods and LA Fitness and is home to an eclectic collection of independently owned businesses. Brick Plaza is actively and locally managed by Metrovation who also works in partnership with owner, Federal Realty Investment Trust on the continuing redevelopment and repositioning of the shopping center.
